Bastille Day

Watching the Bastille Day Fireworks from an excellent vantage point. They were absolutely unbelievable, it felt like we were in a movie.

The rest of my Bastille Day was spent saying farewell to A, who has gone back to America for what I hope is only six weeks! D and I took her to the airport and waved her off, and then I went and joined another A and M for a picnic in the Jardin de Luxembourg. A2 and I spent much of the afternoon hanging out in her apartment, where I read The Hunger Games which I highly recommend. After that, we went to another girl's apartment, which had the above view, and watched the fireworks. Unfortunately I had to work the next day, so was forced to go home early (still didn't get home until about 3am though!).
