An Oliver
So......apologies but the historical bit I'd written about Oliver type-writers and the QWERTY keyboard has gone (see below) and I don't have enough time to re-create the note. Therefore - just the photo only I'm afraid which is a good deal less interesting than a bit of the history that went with it.
Memo to the Hidden Powers and High Priests of BlipWorld:
Well..........this is the second night in a row I've experienced severe problems uploading a blip. It took 3 goes last night and the thumbnail was blacked out. I've just spent 20 mins on the text for the blip this evening only to find that Blip had shut me out and I had to start all over again. Ironic isn't it - in my now very distant experience of sending work to typing pools, the material never ever got lost. And they say this information technology era improves productivity?!?
