Special Ruby

The Special Ruby camera was British made by Thornton-Pickard. The company stopped making cameras in 1939 and eventually wound up its repair business in c1960.

Message for the High Priests of BlipWorld......

Now........I would have added a wee bit more to the blip description but, like last night and the night before it, I'd just about finished typing up the description when the Powers of Blipworld intervened and shunted me out with an 'oops' message and some strange referral to Twitter (whatever that is). So, regret no additional info on the Special Ruby as I've not got time not to recreate the note. I don't know why I have suddenly started to experience so much disruption in uploading blips. Ah well........three strikes and out perhaps?
