Kerikeri Inlet

There has been a lot of weather this week, torrential rain, electric storms and strong winds. Except Tuesday when it cleared up and we had a hot and humid afternoon.
Today's forecast predicted showers with some sun. Instead we had sun all day, and the temperature rose to 24 this pm, Autumn ! This shot was taken about 100m beyond the dead gum tree where a gap in the bush alongside the road gives this view of the inlet looking east towards the Bay of Islands proper and the Pacific.
If only we had this view from the house !
