Mandarins

I haven't had much time to think about a blip today, it has rained almost non stop and I have been busy all day.
I did have time to pick some mandarins with Tiree from two of the trees in the garden. We have about six mandarin trees as well as oranges, grapefruit and two lemon trees. The mandarins are quite sharp for the first bite and then seem to be sweeter thereafter. I have been told they can be left on the trees and can be picked all winter, another subject to check up on in the kiwi gardening book !
