The Cookes are home!

After 2 years in Madrid our dearest friends arrived back after 4 weeks on the road driving back (with a Caravan)

They arrived at our house tonight and this is a picture of Sam and Izzie busting through our gate (Pippa was just behind)

We had a great impromptu dinner of grilled chicken, baked salmon, chicken wings, tomato pasta, burgers and salad washed down with Champagne and Prosecco.

Much talk of of plans for the coming weeks and months. We are all off the the Scottish Highlands (where I took this picture) in October and Cervinia next year

It's great to have them back
