Hitch hiker.

Found this unlikely pairing when I was pulling up one of my cabbages for tea. One of the bottom floppy leaves had the caterpillar curled up with the snail sat on top but inside it's shell. I gently took the leaf off and sat for AGES waiting for one of them to be brave enough to emerge. They eventually both did and it looked so funny with the caterpillar going along with it's little hitch hiker. Didn't last long as the snail obviously didn't like the way they were going.

Took the children down to the pavement artist comp this afternoon where they get chalks and draw pictures on the seafront. Erin came 3rd with her portrait of our neighbour.
