Jeepers Peepers!

I've gotten in the bad habit this week of waiting to get out my camera right before dinner and stalking around the backyard for 10 minutes to see what semi-interesting thing I might capture -- generally without high hopes.

Today, however, my daughter spotted this little frog out back. It was only about a 1/2 inch (1.25 cm) long, and although I've heard loads of peepers in the spring I've never actually seen one. Now that I've seen how tiny they are, its no surprise. As my daughter said, "Who knew such a big sound could come from such a little frog?"
