St Andrews Harbor
We arrived in London at 6:30 a.m. and caught a flight to Edinburgh. From there we drove to St Andrews and arrived in the early afternoon. The countryside is beautiful, but what really caught my attention right away are the skies in Scotland. They're extremely dramatic and dynamic. Even a friend we're traveling with (and who isn't a photographer) noticed the skies and the light immediately.
Spent the afternoon trying to stay awake, so we walked around the town of St. Andrews. The guys went to a driving range, to warm up for upcoming golf marathon; my daughter and I played among the ruins and enjoyed the fresh air. The weather here is so welcome after our hot and humid summer.
