I'm a crazeeee kinda girl....

Well today has been a little bit quiet really. We had lost our blip mojo and then mum said "right...come on Lily, time for me to practice manual settings on the camera and for you to practice your modeling"!

So here is the result of me doing my "crazy" pose.....what do you think? There were quite a few that came out well, it was hard to choose!

Daddy was supposed to take me to the cricket ground this morning, so that I could have a play with other doggies and run off some steam, but as I have been being naughty with my recall again he chickened out and took me on the lead instead!

He is very tired today, he has been working very hard. In fact he was so tired that for breakfast he gave me the cat's dried food on top of my meat instead of mine!! I don't care though, it all tastes yummy!

Mum was braver than daddy this afternoon. She took me to the river and let me have a SWIM! YAY! I must have jumped in about 10 times. Sometimes I am so excited about jumping in that I forget about waiting for mum to throw the ball and just leap in anyway!! *giggle*

Then we decided to walk a different way back to the car (well mum did, I didn't want to leave the river....) Mum saw some steps up the side of the cliff to the coast path. They looked really steep but there was a little path beside them that I could go on to save my puppy legs. So off we set..... We climbed and climbed, and climbed and climbed....it was VERY steep, much steeper than we thought it would be. Mum was huffing and puffing, I was bounding ahead pulling up her by my lead. Then suddenly......the steps stopped....there was nothing but rock and grass and we were MILES from the bottom.

We stopped and scratched our heads (mum caught her breath!) and then mum decided to make a go for it. We climbed over the rocks and grass to the top! Mum was huffing, puffing and sweating (I was fine!) and clambering up....then as we poked our head over the top there was an old couple sat on a bench laughing at us!! Poor mum! I think she was a bit embarrassed. As we walked off we heard the lady say to the man "you see....you do meet some "interesting" people up here"!

We are a bit tired now. Mum said it is time for wine already...... I don't think that means me too, just a chew will do for me!
