The Barrel Jump...

Today was the Edinburgh Saughton Skate Jam. This was run in conjunction with a local community fun day event so the park was absolutely rammed but thankfully it meant that we didn't have so much messy admin or admin dodging to do.

As part of the jam we managed to source a few kegs from the local pub which came in very handy as obstacles in the first and as an old school barrel jump contest. It is based on the old 1950s ice skating sport of barrel jumping but in skateboarding, you go at the barrels on one skateboard and have to jump to and land on a skateboard on the other side of the barrels.
