Alice In Wonderland

Today went for a lovely 6 mile walk starting from Daresbury village in Cheshire where Lewis Carroll was born. The new visitor centre is under construction unfortunately but his influence is still apparent such as in this weather vane featuring Alice, the white rabbit, mad hatter and of course the Cheshire cat.
A warm and muggy day but enjoyed strolling by a canal and alongside fields of wheat and barley which were being harvested.
