Clermiston Tower, Edinburgh

Another tick off the summer holiday to-do list. A visit to Clermiston Tower on Corstorphine Hill. Actually this has been on the to do list for years but I wanted to go on a Sunday during the summer months as it is open to the public then and you can go right to the top.

I didn't count the number of steps, but you go up and up and up a spiral staircase until you finally come out at the top and behold a panoramic view of Edinburgh all around.
