Observer

Today was meant to be a family day, watching friends compete in the urbanathalon. Instead, Boo got a chesty cough and a tummy bug and kindly shared them with me. (kept us up all night - yuk). Not a bad enough bug to deplete his energy, but bad enough that we thought it wouldn't be fair to inflict these germs on friends with very small children. So, plan B - find a wide open space where he can run about to hearts content without spreading the lurgi. I sat back at a distance and watched, captivated by him as he chose to spend some of his time simply staring at a hedge.
