Turnback!

90 degree weather for the INROADS National Day of Service, and all the non-seniors were working outside cleaning up litter and weeding. x_x However, we worked with a really nice church, who fed us breakfast (see picture) and lunch and drove around a much-appreciated water truck throughout the day.

I ended up in a park working with a fun group of Sikorsky engineering interns. A couple days ago, we were at an awards ceremony together and the president of Sikorsky had made a joke about "a turnback" when the microphone didn't work. So I had the chance to ask, and in engineer-speak, a turnback is a change that needs to be made typically because of an inefficiency or a mistake.

Since we were let out at 1pm from our community service, Dave came over and we shared a pizza and went to The Creamery for ice cream (first time this summer!), where someone Dave knew thought we were on a date. ^^ Then Ryan joined us later after work, and we put off watching A Game of Thrones and instead played some failed games of League of Legends, and I wallowed in the misery of watching my win-loss ratio grow far worse than it had been...My relationship with League of Legends needs a turnback.
