Switzerland and Yorkshire

Not an obvious combination but they share a day. Today, 1 August, is Swiss National Day and Yorkshire Day. Yorkshire Day is associated with resistance to the local government reorganization of 1974. Swiss National Day only goes back to 1994. See, I always thought that Yorkshire was more authentic than Switzerland.
