Letterpress Mesmeri

My first try at letterpress. I've been wanting to try this for a while now and I ended up spending 4 hours in the studio.

There's just something incredibly beautiful about the carved wooden blocks, although I don't know how anyone could have set out point 8 text for newspapers and entire books!

For one of my projects I'm creating a new identity for a letterpress studio, as well as a promotional package, so I think I'm going to spend a lot more time in here.
