"Loch of the Island"

Warm and wet. We were eaten alive by the dreaded Scottish midges. I made a great sacrifice to take this hurried Blip and am still suffering from the bites four days later.

A favourite spot of mine ... in better weather. A three mile forest walk/cycle track around the loch, with a 15th century ruined castle on an island. It was once the stronghold of the Wolf of Badenoch, sounds scary to me.
