The Tree Doctor calls

We're having some problems with a large Wellingtonia in the corner of our garden which dropped about three branches over last Spring. Called a couple of tree surgeons this morning who both appeared this afternoon but fortunately not at the same time. Pruning and cutting back dead wood won't be a problem but one was adamant that Highland Council wouldn't let us have it felled. The other was saying they might as the tree is far too close to a couple of neighbours' houses. The problems they are having with small twigs and cones falling on their property won't go away even if it is pruned. And if pruned the work will need to be repeated in five years or so.
