Private at last
Back-blipped. The south-east corner of our garden. A few months ago this was overshadowed by a large Wellingtonia, a few feet to the right of the sawhorse, which was felled to leave a large stump which was ground down to below ground level the next day. We were left with what the tree man reckoned to be about 16 tons of large blocks as you can see behind me in the stump picture. The fence had to be removed so for the last four months there was open access from the lane. Yesterday Mrs P rang a fencer who came to look the same day as he's working on a new build at the local school. His men appeared this morning, put in new posts, put back the old fence and rehung the gate. They were off before lunch. So now this corner looks a bit tidier. And as I'm back-blipping I know that tomorrow we will finish chopping the blocks apart from a few awkward customer which need the chain saw. The planks in foreground are part of some decking which Mrs. used for pot plants etc.
