Flotilla

August already!! How is that possible, and worse, it's officially the beginning of Autumn here! Bank holiday today, the sun is shining and it's been quite relaxed after the last few days. Pootled around in the garden, clearing paths, picking blueberries and then we did a leisurely walk, stopping in at Annabel's for a cuppa and homemade scone. It was heaving and she and her crew were looking a bit stressed. This is the trouble if you run a successful gallery with ace cafe attached, people start coming!

On the way we passed the last official activity of the regatta weekend - the fishing competition. I don't really think this is on anymore as fish stocks are so depleted but the little flotilla looked very attractive as it headed out to sea, 22 assorted vessels jam -packed with motley crews.
