Green Baby?

I wasn't sure whether to be amused or bemused at this Green Parent magazine. I particularly like the sound of the article on Green Babies as it has been many centuries since we had proper green babies in the UK.

The green children, a boy and a girl appeared in the village of Woolpit in Suffolk sometime in the 12th century. They spoke some strange unknown language, had green skin and ate only green beans. The children eventually lost their green colouration after they were weaned on to other food and though the boy sadly died, the girl grew up and learned to speak English. She explained that they came from a land where the sun never shone and everything was green.

Many explanations have been offered to explain where the children came from to account for their strange appearance ranging from their being space aliens to Flemish(!).

Perhaps the Green Babies in the magazine can shed some light when they get a bit older?
