Eternal Flame

My father passed away at 6.30am this morning. He went peacefully in hospital, and is now in a better place. It is obvious that cancer ravaged his body in his final weeks, but his suffering is over and there is a quiet sense of relief that he died with dignity and without much pain.

I don't want to go on too much after a long day, but Blip is a good way of getting things out of your system, and no doubt more will come.

My mum is coping well and will definitely appear when ready to put across her thoughts and feelings.

This was the very last moment I spent with him. I shall revisit that page again and again - it's a joyous picture.

Miss you already Dad. See you again one day.
