Loch of the Lowes
Including Osprey. Honestly. It's in the tallest of the pine trees, towards the left hand side, on the left hand side of the nest which is the brown bit below the top section of growth. No, really, it's there. Promise.
Last of our wee holiday things for a while - had hoped to do this last week but couldn't get booked in, so after Jem worked the weekend and before she moves to her new post in Perth tomorrow, we had bed, breakfast and afternoon tea in a hotel in the great holiday metropolis of Blairgowrie, courtesy of a cheap deal. Surrounded by coach tour members.
Spent today in Scone Palace, at Loch of the Lowes, and then Dunkeld - the cathedral is one of Jem's favourite places. Rained all day, but it was nice and relaxing to potter around, and good to see Lady, probably the world's most famous osprey. Who is, really is, in this picture.
