Aquamarine/Nanna K's Day

Summer Blue

Flowers aren't usually high on my list to blip, but this bush is yelling at me. My backyard here in Seattle is literally 15 feet wide and maybe 10 deep. This lacy blue hydrangea takes up half of it! Probably not the best choice to plant here - but it's indestructible - we cut it way back most years. And since I'm not here much of the summer, I'm enjoying looking at it this week--I see it from my computer desk. And this little bee just happened along at this moment....altho he wasn't the focus.(literally!)

A very fine Tai Chi class this am- (made me sweat, lest you think it's not work) and tonight a treat - the Opera with friends M (blipper Mikeday) and hubby T. Porgy and Bess- a real bit of Americana. I understand it gets performed frequently in Europe, this one is a brand new Seattle production with a director who is directing it for his first time - I'm really looking forward to it.
