a very blustery day....

.... I have never been so scared trying to sleep in wind like that.... not funny at all... the caravan felt as if it was going to take off... it rocked from side to side (& sitting right on the waterside made it feel like we were going to end up in it....)

I felt very sorry for those campers in tents - I heard them talking most of the night, well early morning more like it, when I looked out one of the tents was almost flattened & when I finally got up in the morning it was completely down with a huge rock on top of it.... & they were nowhere to be seen....

now lets see what the rest of the day brings....


the wind brought the rain... but we headed out to Kyle of Lochalsh on the mainland for lunch & to do a little more exploring....

back on Skye we ended up on a road that ended at a ferry.... (Stuart want to go over for the fun of it... but in that wind... not a chance!!!)

we went to Kylerhea otter haven & took the mile walk to the hide, we saw the otter's & they looked just like dog's swimming...

the trip back.... was very windy & bumpy... I was very green by the end of it.... needed to stop & get some air by the end of it....

an early night is needed after last night's antics.....
