Gentlemen Prefer Blondes
It was Abi's birthday today, so we went out with them Henry and Archie to the birthplace of Sir Isaac Newton over in Lincolnshire.
It was a great place for Henry as there was a science centre equipped with hands-on experiments such as light-splitting prisms, lenses, telescopes and exibits that demonstrate the effect of gravity - all of which kept Henry happy and engaged and Flick confused.
There was an activity centre where Henry could make masks, dress up, paint pictures and weave bracelets. Flick joined in, and on the wall was artwork from previous visitors -a particularly outstanding piece of art was signed "Brenda, age 43 and a half"
In the garden was the famous tree that he sat under when an apple fell on his head, and he was inspired to invent cider.
There was also a "petting" farm full of sheep and lambs. This particular lady caught my eye, and I thought I would post it as an antidote to some gross ugliness posted yesterday that frankly put me right off my dinner.
This is what ladies should look like.
