Smiley Happy People

Start of the Festival today so there was no shortage of nutters wandering around town. This chap was strolling around creeping into anyone and everyone's photos. He wasn't handing out leaflets, he wasn't shouting out a time and venue, nor was he engaging people in conversation other than to 'say did you get me?', and 'thanks'. No publicity whatsoever.

Perhaps he is not taking part in the Fringe, perhaps he is just a very Smiley Happy Person.

The increase in the number of people in town was very noticeable and my desire to be alone at the allotment was immense but no such luck - many things to buy. August is full of Birthdays.

One thing not on the list was a new sofa bed. However, when Habitat are selling the last one, in just the colour that would work and at 70% off - yes that's a huge 70% off, well you just have to look at the old one, shiny material from being sat on and rubbed away, dirty marks from kids eating all sorts on it, and hole where the piping used to be. So I bought it - 'because you're worth it'.An to those who choose to say - 'ah yes but that's 30% you didn't need to spend', I say Bah!
