The Longest Day

Michelle had an early flight to Auckland today so we were enlisted to look after Tiree and Isla. This involved setting the alarm for 5.15am, round to see the kids, breakfast at their house, back to our house, drop off the car in town for a head gasket repair, back to meet the builder who started this morning building a study in the garage, Mrs R took Tiree to day care....... and all this before 8.30 am !
Not much time to think about a blip as there were building duties to perform, painting a ceiling, oh and taking Isla and Ollie for a walk to the reserve.

Who said retirement was easy ?
