Fences Separate So Much

The town in which I work is a very interesting place. It is on the edge of where the country meets the city. It has horses grazing in fields right next to the Home Depot. Chickens are commonly seen crossing the road.

Here, a new parking lot to the new grocery store butts up to an old fence near an old barn. Sort of what is becoming of the rural way of life. Trying to hold strong but in some parts, not doing so well.
