Woodbine.

I know that this plant is called Bindweed, and it is a pernicious weed, but it has prolific beautiful flowers. I always associate this flower with picking blackberries, and I suppose we are getting towards this part of the year now. Is it me or are the summers, as they are, getting shorter? I should have been at Garstang Agricultural show today, but we have a man coming today to fit a satellite dish. when we were repairing the window sill we came across a five pack, empty of course. Transported back to my youth and the delicious scent of Wood's finest Virginia tobacco. I smoked Park Drives myself, @ 11 1/2 d per 5. my mate from Teeside said they used to leave a couple on the fireplace overnight so that they would dry up a bit and give your lungs a good clear out in the morning. Eleven years since I had a fag. I would spark one up straight away if I could find one that wouldn't shorten my life.
