In the Big Woods

Another beautiful warm day today, so we off to the woods bright and early for a jeep full of sticks. As we've had no rain for two weeks all the logs we had left behind were ready for cutting and collecting.

It did strike me that, as the cost of running costs vehicles goes up maybe we should think of getting a horse to bring the logs out of the woods. We could get a wee trailer with seats which we could use to get the shopping as well and you get the side benefit of all the fertiliser you could ask for. How amazing would that be?

I mentioned it to Petunia on the phone - she thought it was just another example of my increasingly eccentric behaviour. Cheek!

I still think it would be pretty neat and BB's up for it.
