Despite the changeable weather this afternoon my mum was determined to go ahead with her barbecue - my brother and his family are also visiting so she had invited a few of our cousins round for a bit of a get together. Fortified by pimms, we braved the chilly wind and drizzle until someone pointed out we could probably fit all the garden chairs indoors so we decamped to the kitchen and let the aga warm us all up.
