A grey day here in Leeds but a productive trip out to Batley to buy my first bike - an ER6N Kawasaki. Very exciting. Pick it up next weekend and very nervous about my first ride out! So then some much needed caffeine at Red Brick Mills. An amazing place if you have a well stuffed wallet! Some fantastic art displays though and this caught my eye - by the artist Frances Lee. Wholeheartedly agree with this and love the text below from a 1950's guide for the perfect housewife. Which mostly I'm not but just occasionally (much to my husband's delight) I do quite enjoy playing this role. But not so much he will ever become accustomed to it ;-)
