No Sunday lie in for me today as was up early to help my daughter and her boyfriend earn a but of cash car booting! I did this alot when she was small to help buy those little extras - and to also gain some space by reducing the amount of toys to trip over. Fascinating places car boot sales - such a mixture of generations and cultures. Young couples furnishing first homes; grandparents with their grandkids getting bags full of treasures with their pocket money; avid collectors and antique dealers and traders. I have also spent hours at these sales and jumble sales searching for a Pippa doll. Brings back so many lovely memories of childhood days. One day I'm sure I'll find her.

So after a lovely morning chatting with some fascinating punters; breakfasting on bacon butties and coffee - it was time to pack up in haste when the rain arrived - to travel home with the van much lighter and the purse £160 heavier :-). A good mornings work!
