Anacortes Mural

Traveled up to the Anacortes Annual Craft fair today with friends....both at one time fellow bus drivers. Now one drives for senior centers and the parks dept. and pursues a variety of eclectic interests. She rented a wheelchair so our friend who cracked her kneecap could journey along. All went very well all things considered! An amazing array of crafts , foods, strolling people to sort oneself through!

i saw an acrylic painting I loved. It was done in three pieces. The top depicted a bourgeois scene of opulence with one person's wine glass tipping over the balcony dripping wine downward. The middle painting was the continued downward dripping and the bottom last painting showed a homeless person lying in alongside the street curb with the wine drips landing on them. Entitled "The Trickle Down Theory". Very good illustration of failed economic theory!

I blipped a few murals and chose this one of an old time family outing for today's blip.
