Oban Harbour

Day 4: Torinturk
After the gorgeous sunshine of the rest day yesterday, we were sunk back into murk and showers today. I think the less said about my corienteering the better. At one point I found myself climbing up a very steep hillside through very soggy bracken which was taller than me. When I reached the lip, a fellow competitor had to lift branches up to enable me to climb over and out! It all went downhill from there. Tony dropped a few places today but maintained a position in the top 20 with an 18th placing. I finished in 37th place.

Afterwards we went to do some shopping in Oban and treated ourselves to more coffee and cake at the yummy Chocolate Company Cafe.
