Installed

We are installed upstairs! We've been here before, when we first moved in, before we managed to find some scraps of carpet to sort out the front room downstairs. For two years the living room has been "serviceable" and now it's starting to move forwards!

It's kinda nice up here.

Ok.

It's more than kinda nice. It's really lovely actually despite it being even less decorated than the living room downstairs. It's lighter. There's just that little bit more room, somehow. I'm not sure how that's happened. I suspect it's the lack of fireguard and coffee table. (And perhaps all the rest of the detritus that hasn't yet made it upstairs.)

I like how the twigs behind the tv look like they belong up here, in front of the patchwork wall.

Matt and Sue have gone home again, just after Ben had a bit of a moment and ended up going to sleep. He woke up, had a cuddle, did some watching out of the window - and asked for Aunty Sue. And started really crying when I said she'd gone home! Awwww!!

They'll be back though - they want to see what the house looks like in four weeks' time ;-)

We moved in, we unpacked some boxes, we found a space for a lamp so we could so to eat our pizza!

I've also managed to backblip yesterday. Take a look! Bless him, Ben was so exhausted by dinner time that he took himself off into a different room, lay down, and went to sleep for three hours while we finished moving stuff upstairs!!!
