Hoopoe

I spent acouple of hours in Safa Park, mainly looking for birdies. Unfortunately, in April, there are not so many around. This hoopoe was obviously collecting food for its young as were another couple who had built their nest beneath a drain cover (with a hole in it) on the ground. I also saw a couple of Inian Rollers having a terrirory war...but not a lot else, and certainly nothing unusual. Still, I think hoopoe are really pretty little birds.
