Post Holiday Blues..

I am feeling a bit sorry for myself today, life is back to normal after our lovely holiday. Daddy is back at work, I had a normal walk not on a beach and mum has been busy with boring housework and food shopping. hummmpphhhhh

Then a little while ago mum asked me if I would like to go shopping for something for myself! To cheer me up. WOOFTASTIC, I thought, shopping....in a real shop!

So off we went to Pets at Home (other stores are available!). I am allowed to go in the shop on my lead if I behave myself but OH MY GOODNESS I LOVE it in there. Almost as much as mum does in Cath Kidston. I shot through the door dragging mum behind me (again just like mum does with daddy behind her!). I didn't know which aisle to go down first (mmm yes, definitely like mum does in CK!)

First there was C.A.T stuff...yuk...I soon bypassed that. Then there was fish stuff......oooooo I stopped to look at how pretty they were swimming in their tanks...aawww so lovely.... I looked at mum to see if I was allowed one to play with?

THEN there were REAL LIVE RABBITS in a pen on the floor....RIGHT NEXT TO ME. Oh my goodness, I didn't know what to do with myself. They were darting about just asking me to jump in and chase them but mum firmly pulled me away.

Then...yippppeeeeee it was the doggie aisles. First stop TREATS. I have NEVER EVER seen so many treats in one place. I wanted them ALL. I grabbed a few bags in my mouth to take to the till but mum took them away and told me to LEAVE. Apparently I wasn't allowed to choose, she had to do it because of my sensitive tummy. Boooorrriiing. Anyway, I trusted her and she picked me up some yummy fish braid sticks, some tripe sticks and some James Wellbeloved biscuits...YUMMY.

Then it was TOYS......I couldn't walk past without picking up one and giving it a good old SQUEAK in my mouth! Mum had turned her back on me and it made her jump. Again it was taken out of my mouth but I was allowed to choose a cuddly toy to wrestle with, so I have a big squeaky pheasant! Hee hee, I love him but I am only allowed him for a little bit at a time otherwise within 20mins he is dead and the game is over :-(

THEN I got to choose a new bed! Woweeee. Now that I am nearly a big girl I am going to try sleeping without my puppy crate anymore. Mum has been leaving the door open for the last few weeks and I haven't got up to any mischief so now I have this big red grown up bed for the corner of the kitchen! I am soooo excited to go to bed tonight :-) I have been practicing sleeping on it this afternoon.

I must go now, I have training tonight and need to do some revising. I missed last week because I was on holiday. I wonder if Blue the dreamy Collie will like me with my suntan?!
