Old Tate and Lyle

This is the Old sugar refinery almost Art-Deco in style whether this has a conservation order on it I don't know; but think it should.
Just to the right is the new Tanks.
The dock road is still in some use for various buildings but the old docks lie mostly unused from the once vibrant Port of the past.

It is many years since I have travelled on this road, but do remember the Overhead railway which was the first in the world.
As a 12year I was taken on the railway by my father, along with some friends.
