SS Calgary

Calgary city council has been working hard to upgrade the Bow River cycle paths.

This is particularly obvious around the "East Village", an area that could certainly do with a bit of sprucing up.

Here we are on one of the recently completed viewing decks just built at the side of the river where reclining chair are provided. To date, they have mostly been used by the homeless.

The scene reminded me of a cruise liner deck.
