This will really annoy Paul Daniels

You know sometimes when you meet someone you consider really famous and you clam up and can't say anything witty - well last night was one of those nights! I was photographing the press night of Vive Le Cabaret at the Pleasance. We are allowed in through the artistes entrance before the public and I was ushered into a lift with a couple of performers, including Norman Lovett - known to many as Holly in Red Dwarf. In the lift he was a sweet old man.

When he came on stage the two photographers in the audience, became the butt of his jokes, asking if we were some kind of photography club. At one stage of the act though he did offer us this photo opportunity as he said that by looking like he did magic would really annoy Paul Daniels - as if by magic this was the shot I got and sent over to Mr Lovett this morning.
