Sunset over Edinburgh

Another stunning day in Edinburgh with clear blue skies all day and then a few puffs of cloud arrive in the evening to make a perfect sunset scene for a photographer.

This time I climbed one of the smaller hills to the side of Arthur's Seat, listened to the sounds of the Tattoo wafting in the summer air, swatted a few midges that were hanging around my head and took in the stunning sunset. I was hoping to capture the Tornado jet as it buzzed the top of the castle but to be honest the vision of the sun spreading it's rays over the Ochil's and the Forth is a much better image to share with you this evening.
