Bad Munstereifel
Jacca wanted to buy a penknife to whittle his stick (no euphemism intended.) So we walked in to Gemund to find the only shop closed was the hardware store.
A short drive to the medieval walled town of Bad Munsteriefel, the stellplatz is adjacent to the eifelbad, a large leisure centre with flumes, a washing machine, (bits where the water moves around really fast) tingle jets, fountains, and a dampfbad.
Jaccca managed to get a penknife in town (a transaction conducted entirely in hand signals) so I have programmed the addresses of the local hospitals ready in the sat nav and have the A and E on speed dial. He did ask what do you use the corkscrew for?!?!
As of early evening he has only required simple first aid on a minor flesh wound, which only required a small dinosaur plaster.
EDIT: A more severe cut occurred later, which resulted in copious blood and Tracey fainting.
