3rd Anniversary

Today was our 3rd anniversary.
In the past, we had enjoyed getting rowing boats out on the Serpentine and paddling about for a while. They were fond memories! So, Paul thought it would be a nice idea for us to go and do that as part of our afternoon together.
When we got to the lake, we noticed that there were no rowing boats out, only pedalos. We have had experience on pedalos in the past, they're a bit too energetic for me, but I give them a try anyway.
The people in the boating booth told us because of the gales, they recommended people to go out with a pedalo because they were easier than rowing boats. Paul was really up for it, so we hired a pedalo for an hour.

What followed was us getting blown to the easterly bank of the lake for an hour, forever getting stuck and shouting at each other because we were both too tired to peddle away! We ended up getting some help from some children who pushed us off the bank when we accidentally got moored.

Suffice to say, it was a memorable experience. Whilst trapped, I got this shot of the sun shimmering on the lake, making it look relatively calm.
