County Colours
Jaysus, but I have been missing for a long time. I would like to pretend that I have been re-painting my trimaran in Monaco, glacier-climbing on the Russian steppes, or formenting civil unrest on the Mainland.
But that would be bollox.
I could also hint at long-winded but essential highpowered meetings with fiduciary types in suits, banging out a pan-European solution to the economic quagmire we find ourselves in, moving forward blah blah blah....
But that, too, would be bollox.
Mostly what I have been doing, is as follows.....
arsing about, while sober.
arsing about, while tipsy.
arsing about, while swivel-eyed drunk, then going for a burger and chips and strawberry milkshake in Borzas on the corner.
Some work also happened.
I have also had the pleasure of meeting up with old friends, making new ones- (hey!!, I know an Opera Singer now!), and missing friends who wish they could be here, but cant.
And spending much downtime with the Princess, attempting to educate her on the difference between Good Music and Bad Music. And, since the disappearance of the Warrior Cat Pang, giving her a new imaginary pet, the Barking Spider.
The above (ripped-off) picture appears in todays Irish Times, featuring my friend and colleague George (dont call me Georgina) at work in Enniscorthy.
Her head will never fit that hat again.
