Another busy day, this time off to Cork city. Himself had an eye test and thought drops might be needed so I was designated driver. In the event they weren't but it was a good opportunity to catch up on shopping necessities - smellies from Lush, knickers from M&S and a good haul of books from Waterstones - The Stranger's Child by Alan Hollinghurst, Pulse by Julian Barnes and Wish you Were Here by Graham Swift - 3 for 2 so a complete bargain.
We went the 'back' way to Cork ie the scenic route and very beautiful it looked. This handsome ship caught my eye - moored in Bantry Bay and looking very good in the morning light.
