Strange bug on the mullein
Another excellent one man play last night - Mimic. Very intense, powerful and complex about one young man's search for himself and eventual disintegration into drugs; this story was a metaphor for the general decay of the country. Pretty powerful stuff, all accompanied and accentuated by a piano. We emerged into the still daylight - the south side of the peninsula was in thick fog but Travellersjoy rejoiced in this on the north side!
A stressful day today as a big card order has just arrived and most of them are not good - fuzzy. At first glance they looked fine but on closer inspection they won't do. I'm hoping it's not my fault, and I don't think it is, but I shall have to sort things out tomorrow.
The good news is - Katie Taylor!!! This is the first thing I've watched of the Olympics, how could we not - the longest 8 minutes of my life! I thought Ireland felt a bit empty - everyone's in London!
If you have time do take a peek at son number 2's photos (Joe Clarke) taken at Kendal Calling - he was one of the offical photographers. Some weird and wonderful stuff :)
Lots of postcards coming in too - thank you everyone - some very posh ones with printed writing as well!
