Escape to the country?

Left work early today because the riots were approaching Oxford St from Covent Garden. I'm now home in Camden and staying home.

If I still lived near the smallest house in the country I would not be trapped in my flat. My friend's dad has promised to rescue us if the need arises and take us back to the vicinity though. A midnight rescue would be rather exciting...

We have had to miss our flatmate's first gig tonight so that we can be sure of avoiding the trouble - no one knows where it'll start up next. Hopefully the troublemakers won't scupper all our plans this week, I'm sad to miss Plastique tonight.
